How I feel about being an online student

Hello fellow bloggers, this week I have chosen to address how I feel about being an online student. While I do love the flexibility as well as the self-directed style of the online courses, it does have its disadvantages. Everyone’s learning styles are deferent and may or may not be in tune with this way of learning which consecutively may or may not be easy to do. I myself have always been a very visual learner so since the whole class has been mostly in audio, I will not lie that it has been hard. I also am not very big on the anonymity of theses courses, in school I was always communicating with my fellow Students and Teachers and this way just feels a little too impersonal. But I also do believe in weighing out the pros, and cons of every situation, and the pros outweigh the cons. All things considered I still would not change a thing about my online endeavor because as an ancient Greek General once said “you can not have great victory without great sacrifice”.

  1. I agree with you. I to am a visual learner. I enjoy seeing what I can learn , I feel better that can then ask question and see myself doing it. At this point in my cross roads I am not sure what to do with what I am learning..
    Thank you

  2. I am also a visual learner combined with audio. I kind of need both but I have managed to figure this out some how. I agree that the pros far out weight the cons. I do miss the social aspect of a conventional classroom.
